How the partnership works
The process is deliberately short. You submit the form on this page, we take a look at your channel or community, and if we accept, we activate you for the affiliate system. You then receive your personal code and a dedicated contact person who explains the terms in detail - we agree commission rates and payout arrangements individually, because they depend on reach and format.
From then on, there is no minimum activity and no fixed term. You decide yourself whether you mention MainHoster.de in a video, keep it in your channel description permanently or only bring it up when your community specifically asks about server hosting.
What helps an application: use the message field to tell us what your content is about and where your audience is based. A channel with 1,200 active viewers who all play Minecraft tells us more than a large reach with no particular topic. If you already run a server - with us or elsewhere - mention that too. People who speak from their own experience make more credible recommendations, and we can tell you more precisely which product suits your community.
We reply to applications by email to the address given in the form. If nothing arrives, check your spam folder before writing again.
What suits which community
Which product is worth recommending depends less on reach than on topic. Three patterns come up again and again:
- Gaming channels and communities. Game servers fit most directly here - especially Minecraft, Rust, Counter-Strike 2 and Palworld. If you already run a community server, recommend the product you use yourself.
- Tech and developer channels. For tutorials on Docker, self-hosting, TeamSpeak or your own applications, the VPS is the natural hook; for web and WordPress topics, it is web hosting.
- Mixed communities. If your audience is broad, domains often work best as an entry point - inexpensive, quickly explained and for many people their first own step on the web.
A practical advantage when recommending: the prepaid model comes without a contract and without automatic renewal. Anyone who orders via your code tops up credit and books from it - there is no subscription that someone has to cancel later. What that means in detail is explained in prepaid or subscription.
A note on our own behalf: affiliate recommendations count as advertising in Germany and in many other countries, and have to be labeled accordingly - in videos, streams and description texts alike. How to do this in practice is best clarified with your contact person or your platform. In our experience, open labeling does not reduce the effect - a community notices anyway when a recommendation is not meant honestly, and tends to give you credit for staying transparent.
